Singer Joins Campaign to Eliminate Tetanus
UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador and Grammy-winning world music artist Angélique Kidjo talks about the immunization campaign to eliminate maternal and neonatal tetanus. Every year, about 128,000 babies die before their first birthday from neonatal tetanus. From October through December 2009, anyone can join the global effort to eliminate tetanus by simply downloading Kidjo's song for free.

Elmo Provides Tips for Staying Healthy this Influenza Season
Along with the U.S. government, Sesame Workshop (the nonprofit educational organization behind Sesame Street) launches a new, national public service advertising campaign designed to encourage American children and families to practice healthy habits and to take steps to prevent the spread of the 2009 H1N1 influenza virus. Visit Flu.gov for additional PSAs in English and Spanish that are designed specifically to reach children, parents, pregnant women and young adults.
