Measles Is Beatable. Please Vaccinate Your Children: Dr. Aaron Carroll, professor of pediatrics at Indiana University School of Medicine and a blogger on health research and policy, makes videos at Healthcare Triage News. In this video he describes the current measles outbreak in Clark County, Washington, how the outbreak has spread, how dangerous measles is, and the importance of vaccination.

Fool House Rock: How Measles Is Making a Comeback: The New York Times Opinion section created an animated video about a virus character named Measles, who is trapped inside a test tube at CDC! Following her wise buddy Polio's advice, she sets out to go viral and infect Americans. Lucky for her, many parents subscribe to the logical fallacies that deny science and the success of vaccinations. Can she succeed?

Teen Testifies about Getting Vaccinations Despite His Mother's Opposition: High school student Ethan Linderberger, 18, testified at the U.S. Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions March 5 hearing. He discussed growing up unvaccinated and hearing from his mom that vaccines were dangerous. As he got older, he looked into vaccines independently, consulted his doctor, and got vaccinated. Jimmy Kimmel's Message for the Anti-Vaccine Movement: In this still-timely 2015 episode of "Jimmy Kimmel Live," Jimmy tells his audience that a small yet sizeable group of parents aren't vaccinating their children. He says parents today are "more scared of gluten than they are of smallpox!" so he invites several doctors to come on his show to give medical advice about vaccines.

How Do Vaccines Help Babies Fight Infections? This 1-minute animated video for parents from CDC describes how vaccines work. Injecting a small amount of vaccine antigen into a baby's body will cause their immune system to remember that antigen. If the real germ should ever attack, the immune system will recognize the antigen and fight off the infection.
