Choose You Over the Flu: Families Fighting Flu released a new national PSA (60-sec), reminding families about the seriousness of the flu, and the importance of taking preventative measures this and every influenza season. Luke Duvall, a healthy teenager and high school football player, nearly lost his life to the influenza in 2009. He is sharing his story so that others can learn why flu prevention is critical.

Real Life Disease Detectives: In this short video, Dr. Dan Jernigan describes his work at CDC. He is a senior medical officer in the CDC Influenza Division. Additionally, he has led disease investigation teams for national and international responses including bioterrorism-related anthrax, the emergence of West Nile virus, SARS, the 2009 H1N1 pandemic influenza.

He developed ARDS after he contracted influenza. Now Chapman is encouraging everyone to get vaccinated before it's too late.
