In addition, IAC has included a list of contraindications and precautions that should be considered before vaccines are administered. The list is shown in Table 2, "Guide to Contraindications and Precautions to Commonly Used Vaccines in Children and Teens," which is adapted from "General Recommendations on Immunizations: Recommendations of the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices" MMWR 2006;55(No. RR-15):10-14.
