Complete a subscription profile, and CDC sends an alert by email when new information on the topics you pick (e.g., VISs, schedules, ACIP recommendations, statistics, registries, news) have been updated on the agency's website.
CDC-INFO Contact Center
Call this 24 hours/7 days a week, toll-free number to request information on immunization. The number is (800) 232-4636 or (800) CDC-INFO. This is an integrated CDC hotline service. Callers to this number are given several options, one of which is immunization. This line
will accommodate English and Spanish.
International Travel Information
A toll-free information line provides recorded information on specific health topics for international travelers and for medical professionals advising travelers: (877) 394-8747. A Malaria Hotline (not toll-free) is available Monday through Friday, from 8:30 am-4:30 pm: (770) 488-7788.
CDC Information Line for the Hearing Impaired/TTY Service
This hotline provides information on vaccine safety, immunization recommendations, and
many more topics. The TTY staff is trained in English, Spanish, and American Sign Language (ASL). To reach the TTY hotline, call (800) 243-7889.
National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases
Health care providers can use this email address to receive answers to their immunization-related questions directly from the center. Requests for printed materials, such as ACIP statements, can also be requested via this address. Contact nipinfo@cdc.gov.
Smallpox and Anthrax Information Hotline
Provides information to the public about smallpox and anthrax. Call (888) 246-2675, or (888) 246-2857 for inquiries in Spanish.
