Pneumococcal Polysaccharide
Vaccination Pocket Guide

For more information about the guide, please read on.

What is it?
The Pneumococcal Polysaccharide Vaccination Pocket Guide is a quick reference tool that gives front-line healthcare personnel useful information about the use of pneumococcal polysaccharide vaccine.

It is laminated for durability, printed in easy-to-spot lime green and black, and sized to fit in a shirt or lab coat pocket (3-3/4" x 6-3/4").

The guide is intended to be a provider's partner to help with pneumococcal vaccination. It presents information concisely, listing the groups targeted to receive the vaccine, as well as vaccine contraindications, dosing, administration methods, and side effects. In addition, it supplies providers with talking points useful in describing to patients the importance of being vaccinated.
