Pneumococcal Polysaccharide
Vaccination Pocket Guide |
|
| What is it? |
|
| The Pneumococcal Polysaccharide Vaccination (PPSV) pocket guide is a quick
reference tool that gives front-line healthcare personnel useful
information about the use of pneumococcal polysaccharide vaccine. |
|
| It is laminated for durability, printed in
easy-to-spot lime green and black, and sized to fit in a shirt or lab coat
pocket (3-3/4" x 6-3/4"). |
|
| The PPSV pocket guide is intended to be a provider's
partner to help with pneumococcal vaccination. It presents information
concisely, listing the groups targeted to receive the vaccine, as well as
vaccine contraindications, dosing, administration methods, and side
effects. In addition, it supplies providers with talking points useful in
describing to patients the importance of being vaccinated. |
|
| How do I order them? |
|
| We are currently seeking funding to be able to print and distribute PPSV pocket guides. If you would like to be placed on the list follow the link below: |
