LOOKING FOR SERIOUS SAVINGS? ORDER ADULT IMMUNIZATION RECORDS CARDS BY THE CASE

IAC is pleased to offer IAC Express readers special pricing and free shipping on Adult Immunization Record cards ordered by the case. Priced at $262.50, each case has 3,750 cards--bringing the price down to just $.07 per card. In addition to enjoying a great price on cards you order by the case, you'll also save on shipping: FedEx ground shipping is included in the case price.

WHAT THE ADULT IMMUNIZATION RECORD CARD OFFERS
Providers. The card is a low-cost, easy-to-use teaching tool. Use it during patient visits to discuss a patient's vaccination status with them. Then give it to them and encourage them to use it to keep track of their next vaccination due date.

Patients. Sized to fit in a wallet and printed on canary-yellow paper, the card is a portable, easy-to-find record of a patient's adult immunization history. It lets a patient know which vaccines are recommended for adults, which they've received, and when they received them. Printed on smudge-proof, rip-proof, waterproof paper, the card is intended for lifelong use.

To view the card online in color, go to:
http://www.immunize.org/adultizcards/adultizcard.pdf

NOTE: As currently configured, the Adult Immunization Record card does not list two newly licensed vaccines--the tetanus-diphtheria-acellular pertussis vaccine (Tdap) and the meningococcal conjugate vaccine (MCV4). Providers can easily adapt the card, however, by writing Tdap in the space now designated for Td vaccine and by writing MCV4 in the space now designated for "other" vaccines.

HOW TO ORDER
Don't be disappointed--be sure to order soon. These low prices are available only on cases we currently have in stock.

WANT TO SUPPORT A WORTHY CAUSE? IAC COULD REALLY USE YOUR TAX-DEDUCTIBLE YEAR-END CONTRIBUTION!

In 2004 IAC Express came to its subscribers, asking them for their financial support to continue IAC's work. Your generous response helped us update our websites, produce and mail our professional periodicals, and develop new projects. Now at the end of 2005, we hope you will once again extend your generosity to IAC.

Since IAC began operating 15 years ago, our staff has had thousands of face-to-face, phone, and email conversations with members of the immunization and viral hepatitis communities. You've told us what you need from us, and we've had the privilege of responding by providing you with a phenomenal range of information:

  • practical staff- and patient-education materials you can download and print
  • links to journal articles on immunization and hepatitis issues, accessible on three of our four websites
  • current news, including changes in immunization recommendations made by the federal government and professional societies, via our two email newsletters
  • extension of immunization information to hundreds of thousands of health professionals through our three major periodicals
  • phone consultations with you about your immunization scheduling and administration questions

Funding from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and corporate sponsors has helped our efficient, hardworking staff of eleven meet your diverse information needs. We also need YOUR support to help us continue to help you.

We will be cheered on by a contribution of any amount, but your tax-deductible contribution of $25, $50, $75, or more will help us substantially.

CONTRIBUTE $75 OR MORE, AND RECEIVE A CD OF ESSENTIAL IMMUNIZATION INFORMATION, INCLUDING CURRENT VERSIONS OF ALL IAC'S PRINT PIECES IN ENGLISH AND MANY IN SPANISH--MORE THAN 100 PIECES IN ALL!
Written for staff, parents, and patients, these pieces are CDC reviewed and continually updated, making them resources you can use and distribute with confidence. In addition, the CD includes all federal Vaccine Information Statements--in English AND Spanish.

As a special thank-you for your contribution of $75 or more, IAC will also send you the following: (1) a set of our 15 most popular print pieces, such as the "Summary of Recommendations for Childhood and Adolescent Immunization" and the "Summary of Recommendations for Adult Immunization," (2) a year's subscription to one of our print publications (Needle Tips, Vaccinate Adults, or Vaccinate Women), and (3) a colorful IAC mousepad (while supplies last).

WE THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF OUR HEARTS!
The eleven of us who staff IAC extend our thanks to you, our subscribers, readers, email correspondents, order placers, phone friends, and contributors. Figuring out how to meet your needs for reliable immunization and viral hepatitis information has been and continues to be stimulating, challenging, and deeply rewarding. We know we can depend on your generosity to support us in this important work.
