SPANISH VACCINE INFORMATION STATEMENTS ARE ON THE WEB!
Atencion, por favor! The California Immunization Branch has Spanish translations of all the VISs (except pneumococcal and influenza). These translations are now on the Immunization Action Coalition's website for you to download, copy, and hand out to your Spanish-speaking patients. Just click on the version or versions you need. But first, a word from your advocates!  Before you vaccinate a child or an adult with a dose of DTaP, DTP, Td, MMR, varicella, polio, Hib, or hepatitis B vaccine, you are required by law to give a copy of the current VIS to the adult vaccinee or to the child's parent or legal guardian.
