1.  Please take our survey about immunization education materials

As most readers of IAC Express know, IAC is a dedicated provider of immunization education materials for healthcare professionals and the public. Our collection of more than 250 free, ready-to-copy pieces covers a wide range of topics.

As you also know, the field of immunization is growing more complicated and certain issues have become more challenging. Specifically, the problems of vaccine concerns and vaccine underutilization require urgent attention. IAC is therefore gearing up for a major effort to improve the availability of existing and new immunization education materials that address these issues.

In preparation, we are querying IAC Express readers to identify the topics you would most like to have covered and to find out what materials are already available. We believe many excellent pieces have already been created by other organizations and we are aware of many of them.

We have two goals: (1) to get a thorough grasp of the breadth of materials that currently exist and how well known they are; and (2) to find out which topics have been minimally covered and what new materials are needed to fill the gaps.

Please consider taking time to review the materials you use and think about what new materials would be useful to you in your daily activities.

Your input is critically important to the success of this project, which has the potential to make a significant impact on our common goals of breaking down the barriers of vaccine hesitancy and refusal and of increasing immunization rates.

At the end of the survey you will be shown some ways in which, if you are willing, you can forward us samples of your materials, which we may be able to promote or distribute in the course of our continuing effort to supply healthcare professionals and others with effective materials that educate parents and patients about vaccines.

Thank you for being our partner in immunization education!
